Career
Kumar Sanu’s father ‘Pashupati Bhattacharya’ was a vocalist and composer by profession. Kumar Sanu started his playback singer career in1986 with one of the Bangladeshi films.
Later he got his first major break in Bollywood with the song ‘Jashna Hai Mohabbat Ka’ from Movie Hero Hiralal 1988 starring Naseeruddin Shah, Sanjana Kapoor, Deepa Sahi, Kiran Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan.
Kumar Sanu then shifted to Mumbai and became the KING OF MELODY in Bollywood. In 1990 he got AASHIQUI movie in which music is given by our favorite Nadeem Sharavan.
During his career, he was associated with Bollywood’s popular Music directors and composers such as;
