Jubin’s Career Journey
Jubin showed his interest in music at the edge of four. In school, he not only continued his education but also formally studied music as a subject and built a base in classical music. He also learned to play musical instruments like guitar, piano, harmonium, and drums.
At the age of 18, Jubin becomes a well-known singer in his hometown Dehradun.
In 2007 Jubin moved to Mumbai for higher studies and joined Mithibai College. During this time he got the chance to meet A. R. Rahman who appreciated his voice quality and advised him to continue working on exploring his voice for a few more years.
Taking A. R. Rahman’s advice he moved back to his hometown and continued his training under his school music teacher Mrs. Vandana Srivastava. He also took additional lessons in classical music from Guru Mr. Samant and in Western music at a music academy in Chennai where he had the opportunity to study under veteran guitarist Prasanna.
In 2011 Jubin Participated in the Sony Television Music Reality show X-Factor where he stood in the top 25 participants.
After 4 years of training and polishing his skills in music finally he got the chance in Bollywood.
